Hops Class!
Your teacher this year is Miss Wilson and Miss T as your TA.
Our topic this term is Walking in somebody else's shoes! We will be reading various books such as Secrets of a Sun King and learning a play based on A Midsummer Night's Dream; whilst also learning about the Ancient Egyptians.
Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday.
7.7.22 A great virtual Leaver's Service for the Year 6's by Salisbury Cathedral.
1.7.22 We all had a fun time on our sailing trip today!
6th May 2022 Year Five’s last day at Leeson House, a walk to Swanage, stories, ice cream followed by a play on the beach.
W.C 24.1.22 In art, we used watercolours and acrylics to create a piece of artwork based on Narnia. We used a layered effect to show the wardrobe with looking through the key hole in to winter world of Narnia.
W/C 20th September In science, we have looking at the functions of the heart! We always start our lessons with a 'big question.' What are your thoughts on penguins flying? We also attempted a tricky puzzle in maths, we had to really think out the box for this one!
W/C 13.9.21 Our writing unit at the moment is based on the book 'Journey to River Sea.' We have had great fun writing about The Amazon River. In maths, we have been rattling our heads trying to solve problems and then explaining how we got our answer.
