At Milton on Stour CE Primary School, we know that good attendance is the route to success in order to achieve pupil attainment and raise individual standards. Attendance is expected to be 97% or above.

In line with all Dorset schools, Holidays taken in term time will not be authorised and a fixed penalty notice will be given for 10 or more unauthorised missed sessions ( 1 day equals 2 sessions)

We open our gates at 8.45 and everyone is expected to be in class ready for the register at 9.00. This part of the day is really important and valuable learning time can be lost
