Pupil voice

We really value the importance of giving our learners a platform to express their feelings and ideas. This year we have consulted the children on a variety of issues and have encouraged them to be an active part in shaping the changes in our school.

We have consulted them on:

The Behaviour policy

Anti Bullying Policy

Our rules

Our Vision and values

Our Class names

Our House names

Their views about Mental Health and wellbeing in school

We have a number of pupil voice groups in the school, where children have nominated themselves or each other to join groups working alongside teachers . These include:

Class councillors

Well being ambassadors

Eco Councillors

The Year 6 children also value their roles as Buddies to the youngest children in the school and it is lovely to see them taking on such a responsibility in helping our new children settle into school.
